Tranmere story

Scottish midfielder Tommy Young began his senior career with Falkirk, where he made more than 90 league appearances and scored regularly from midfield.

Young joined Tranmere Rovers in 1972 and became an important part of the side during the first half of the decade. He made 172 Football League appearances for Rovers, scoring 27 goals, before moving to Rotherham United in 1977. He later played for Runcorn.
